Rene
Collins and the Great Movement, Acoustic/World Rock
Réné
Collins is a solo singer/songwriter and the former lead vocalist
for the NYC band Blue Ceiling. On this website you'll find lyrics,
information on upcoming events and pictures of his performances.
In his songs,
Rene effortlessly weaves together the subjects of spiritual progress,
love, and nature to create a unique musical and lyrical style. Charismatic,
charming and energetic, he woos the audience with his powerful vocals,
sensitive lyrics and down-to-earth manner. His polyrhythmic strumming
style creates head-bobbing grooves, with memorable hooks that will
linger in your head the next morning. His second CD with Blue Ceiling,
"Tales from the Spiritual Lost and Found" has been released,
and he is currently recording his solo CD "Bringing Down the
Sky", which evokes his unique blend of acoustic folk-rock and
hip hop and reggae influences.

Atomictom
AtomicTom
wants you to throw your panties. Formed in New York City in January
2006, this unsigned band is making pop-rock songs that will drive
you ka-ka. And these four guys are completely serious about producing
real, fun music. "At first glance you may think that atomictom
is just another pop band with every song overproduced and underdeveloped,"
says Boston's WXRV 92.5 FM, "but in this case quite the opposite."
From the studio to the stage, everything is spinning around three
themes: love, sex, and madness. Why do they call themselves atomictom?
Because they like the way it sounds, especially when fans are screaming
it and throwing underwear on stage. Check out "Movies Screens"
and "Secret Fascination."

Visuals - Mob House
This is da
place where ol skool meets nu skool and the gritty realities of
life in da crooklyn ghettos merge with the psychedelic frontier
and melt into a kalidescopic array of multidimensional maddness
that you will simply have to see to believe.
Mob House is
the true nexus of visual art. One step closer to ascension. It is
a love of the art that makes the work enjoyable. The future is just
begining for this artist to KREATE.

Mixed
Media - Candice Alexander
With each new
piece I create, a “disciplined, dreamlike conversation”
is translated from the seemingly infinite universe. My art is an
expression of my subconscious, which results in an experience my
conscious must document. The exact moment the tool in my hand makes
contact with the surface, the magical - the mysterious - the unexpected
occurs, and the transformation begins. This freedom in transformation
allows me to create spontaneous textural and visual worlds. The
infinite is made finite through this process and I feel empowered
by the endless possibilities in our universe.
